Retention Resources for Individuals & Educational Institutions

Retention References

The retention/attrition reference list is intended for those interested in research or finding information about retention/attrition. The retention reference list is the most widely downloaded document form this web site. It started with about 250+ references from my doctoral dissertation with additions from the Journal the Journal of College Student Retention: Research, Theory and Practice witch I am the founding Editor. Over the years I was able to expand the list to over 1,800 references. Subsequently, with many other responsibilities I have not been able to expand the list. Then I received an email for Dr. Zaiyong Tang, Professor in the Dept. of Marketing and Decision Sciences, in the Bertolon School of Business, Salem State University, MA. He said that he would like to take on a project to expand my reference list using AI among other means. Hence an updated reference list which now has over 4,000 retention references. My wholehearted thanks to Dr. Tang for taking on this project, his diligence and hard work for seeing this project through to fruition.
